NTC Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., has been placed 14th in the TOP 50 Specialized Transport Companies in the WORLD listing
[T50 Index 2016 ranking] by KHL – International Cranes & Specialized Transport Magazine.
Established in 1989, KHL Group, a diversified media company, is now the leading supplier of international construction information in the world. It has achieved rapid growth through market focus and an intense knowledge of the world market.
The Transport 50 ranking for 2016 and the certification, are awarded to NTC Logistics to mark its inclusion in the 2016 International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine, Transport 50 top list.
The assessment is carried out by totaling the carrying capacity of all specialized transport equipment in the company's fleet. The two main sections in the index are specialized trailers & modular trailers, and SPMT [Self-Propelled Modular Trailer].
This ranking is a milestone in the annals of NTC. It is also heartening to note that NTC is participating in this T50 ranking for the first time and yet has come out of the blocks as the leader among the Indian entrants. The introduction to the certification by KHL reads, "Popularity of the unique T50 continues to grow each year and inclusion in this important reference resource, can benefit a company's reputation. It also presents marketing opportunities".
NTC Logistics' total movement of 34,057 tonnes is 68% from specialized trailers (23,051 tonnes) and the remaining 32% (11,006 tonnes) is from modular equipment. The KHL Group’s analysis team has observed that there is an increase of more than 13% in the total capacity of the top 50 companies, in the year 2016. It is also encouraging to see such strong growth among the companies that specialize in moving the largest and heaviest of loads around the world on land.
This is probably the greatest fillip we need to move into year 2017. And with zest & energy, we are sure to move up the ranking next year. Waiting to hear the world read our success story.
