Under K. Chandramohan's chairmanship, NTC Logistics India (P) Limited [Formerly Namakkal Transport Carriers (P) Limited] owns one of the largest fleets in the country and is a multi-national, multi-million business conglomerate in allied and diversified field of activities. Today, K. Chandramohan has embarked on a mission to add innovations, design customer-centric solutions and spread the wings across the globe to ensure that NTC Logistics India (P) Limited is one of the best end-to-end logistics solutions providers in the world.
Widely known and esteemed philanthropist, K. Chandramohan has established “Palaniammal Kandasamy Charitable Trust” in memory of his mother. The trust is actively engaged in improving the lives of the less unfortunate and downtrodden. The trust lays emphasis on developing the driver community that is the keystone of the logistics industry. The establishment regularly organizes eye camps, driver training & counseling, and blood donation camps.
Joint Managing Director
Present-day and gentle Raajasundaram holds a Masters in Business Administration from Madras University. Hailing from a family with business acumen particularly in the transportation industry, Raajasundaram has it all that takes to run the corporate finances.
In 1997, he joined hands with K. Chandramohan and is the Joint Managing Director of the NTC Group. He currently heads the finance controlling activity that includes budgeting, treasury, accounting & auditing, compliances and insurance. With his excellent leadership qualities and rapport with bankers and financial institutions, Raajasundaram has been ably managing the finance requirements of NTC Group and has created a formidable reputation.
Director - Projects
N. Thillaiarasan, a BBA, is an avid automobile enthusiast. The interest and knowledge in the field of automobiles and transportation, made him gain insight particularly in the operation and maintenance of heavy ODC [over dimensional cargo] vehicles. He has carried out many innovations in the ODC operations and maintenance, till date.
Thillaiarasan is the Director of Operations & Special Projects and helms the fleet operations & special projects at the company’s state-of-the-art Chennai service centre. Today, NTC Logistics India (P) Limited has one of the best & largest ODC fleets in India. He has successfully led teams that designed and modified the fleets to operate effectively even in inhospitable terrains and inclement weather conditions.
Director - Fleet & Operations
S. Muthusamy, ventured very early into transportation business - his favorite pursuit. An entrepreneur since early days, he owned a small fleet. His interest in the transportation industry led him to associate with NTC Logistics India (P) Limited. His association with K. Chandramohan in the year 1997, helped the two to forge a synergy and build a robust enterprise.
S. Muthusamy is Director, Fleet Operations & Maintenance and is in-charge of company's Namakkal facility. He also manages more than 2000 drivers, co-drivers and operators.
Chief Financial Officer
R Venkatesh, Group CFO is a qualified ACA of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a graduate CWA from the Institute of Costs & Works Accountants of India (ICWA) and a company secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. A financial & management professional with experience of around 17 years, Venkatesh is proficient in logistics, life sciences, information technology, retail, telecom and infrastructure industries.
He has held leadership roles in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity funding, initial public offering (IPO), integration of acquired entities, strategic investor relationship, management of global finance & accounts operations. He began his career as senior officer - accounts & taxation with Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Limited in 1999.
He has had a stint with Hutchison Essar Limited, Spencer's Retail Limited, Prolifics Corporation and GVK Biosciences before joining NTC Group as Group CFO.Specialties include corporate finance, accounting, consolidation, compliance, risk management, audit, taxation, legal & secretarial, due diligence, business process re-engineering & automation, offshoring, outsourcing, change management.
President & COO - Renewables
Jayasimman, President & COO - Renewables, passed BE Mechanical engineering with distinction, from Dr. MGR Engineering College, Chennai. Jai's career took off with a successful stint in Rane Brake Linings at Pondichery. As production engineer, he moved to Dubai's Eurocon Building Industries - a company engaged in manufacturing aluminium composite panels. He joined Al Mourserji Group (Alucom) as COO and was instrumental in setting up the factory besides handling material management and marketing. He went on to establish a new set-up for manufacturing aluminium composite panels, before moving to NTC.
B. Madhan Mohan
President & COO – Freight Forwarding
B Madhan Mohan, President & COO – Freight Forwarding, has over two decades of experience in freight industry with specialization in operations and business development. Mohan has worked across various locations in India and travelled extensively across the globe to build strong business relations. He has also spent over a year in China to help his erstwhile org Unitex Group realign with global network, and implemented process improvements within the organization. Later he moved back to India to set up "Unitex Logistics India Pvt Ltd" in 2008 that developed strong foothold in freight forwarding business; doing trades across Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Germany.
A diploma holder in electronics, Mohan has completed programs in supply chain management from CII and logistics management from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Head – Contract Logistics
G.M Sathyanarayanan, Head – Contract Logistics, has had an illustrious career spanning over 30 years with diverse experience in logistics industry, covering CHA, containerised transport activities, CFS & ICD, and containerised domestic cargo movement by rail and sea.
Earlier, he was managing the North & West CHA Virtual in Chennai-based INDEV Group. He was also instrumental in launching FTWZ facilities in Mundra Port. With INDEV, Sathya designed and developed one CFS, couple of ICDs, one truck division, and bonded warehouses in Southern Tamil Nadu. Sathya considers it an honor that during his tenure in Tutucorin, Port of Singapore Authority awarded 1st position to INDEV for container traffic.
Suhas Ramesh Labde
President & COO – Projects & Engineering
Suhas Ramesh Labde, President & COO – Projects & Engineering, brings around 23 years of rich experience in project management, corporate strategy, planning & execution, business development, audit, finance controls & allied functions.
A graduate from Mumbai University and cost accounting from ICWAI, Suhas is also a certified RULE 9 holder of Chennai Customs.
In his career, he has executed several challenging and critical projects for one of the pioneers in project logistics business and has concluded several business opportunities within and outside India. He has been actively involved in implementing cost reduction strategies and process compliances.
Earlier, Suhas was Vice President- Strategy & Planning with Allcargo Logistics Ltd. He was also associated with MHTC logistics Ltd as Head, Finance & Budget functions.
At NTC, Suhas is instrumental in driving business strategy, identifying potential opportunities for his SBU, extending operational territories beyond India & handling related compliances, and developing & implementing engineering solutions.
